Our Target
TruGreen is proud to support Alzheimer’s Society.
We’re proud to support Alzheimer’s Society throughout 2026 with a series of fundraising activities that raise awareness and make a meaningful difference.
As part of the ServiceMaster UK Brands family, we’re joining forces with six sister brands to support Alzheimer’s Society as charity of the year. Together, we’re working towards our fundraising target while helping raise awareness of dementia and its impact on people, families, and communities across the UK.
Dementia is one of the UK’s biggest health challenges, with around one million people currently living with the condition. By supporting Alzheimer’s Society, we’re helping fund vital advice, services, and practical support for people affected by dementia.
Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia are still widely misunderstood as a normal part of ageing, but dementia is a serious, life-limiting condition and the UK’s leading cause of death. That’s why raising awareness and funding support matters so much.
As part of our commitment to Alzheimer’s Society fundraising, we’ll be following in the footsteps of our sister brand, Merry Maids UK, by taking part in the nationwide Forget Me Knot Challenge.
Originally launched by Merry Maids UK in 2023, this sponsored virtual relay has already raised over £13,000 for Alzheimer’s Society. Teams across the UK run, walk, and cycle together to complete thousands of miles in support of dementia awareness and fundraising.
This year, the challenge will be taken on across all ServiceMaster UK Brands from July to September, during the blooming season of the forget-me-not flower, a powerful symbol of memory and dementia awareness.

We’ll be sharing fundraising updates, campaign milestones, and community stories on our blog and social media channels throughout the summer, so stay tuned.
